Who we are
animedoll.ca is an independent Canadian buying guide to adult anime-style love dolls, including illustrated faces, adult bodies, material options and the realities of buying across Canada. We are not a store, a manufacturer or a brand site. There is no single exclusive partner behind the catalogue.
Every published page is signed The animedoll.ca team. That signature represents the editorial project; we do not invent named reviewers, professional credentials or a physical testing facility. Our aim is to help a visitor understand the cost and care obligations before choosing a seller.
We write in Canadian English, use centimetres and kilograms first, and favour Canadian-dollar comparisons when a reliable quote is available. In a category where photographs can dominate, we put storage space, material handling and landed cost near the start of the discussion.

What we cover and exclude
The site covers clearly adult-proportioned dolls with illustrated, fantasy or lifelike-inspired faces. We also cover replacement heads, compact adult formats, cleaning, support, shipping and import questions. A buyer who only wants an answer about taxes or compatibility should be able to find one without wading through a sales catalogue.
We do not cover or link to products with minor-appearing proportions, faces or styling. A store label saying adult does not settle the visual question. If an image or description is ambiguous, we prefer to omit the item. Our adult-only restriction applies to product cards, illustrations and editorial recommendations alike.
We also avoid explicit scenarios, false safety assurances and sensational language. A short factual note about a component can be relevant to cleaning; erotic narration is not part of our editorial purpose.

How we research products
Our comparisons draw on publicly available retailer listings, published specifications, product photographs, shipping and returns policies, and identifiable published owner reviews when those can be found. We do not physically test the dolls. We do not publish invented ownership stories, scores or star ratings.
If a product heading disagrees with its materials table, we do not quietly choose a version. The discrepancy remains unresolved until the seller provides a written clarification. We apply the same approach to unconfirmed Canadian prices and shipping routes.
Editorial selection favours adequate information, adult-only presentation, clear support terms and a sensible use case. A product may be left out because it lacks evidence, not because the maker or buyer has done anything wrong.
For more detail, see adults-only policy.
Funding and independence
Some store-opening buttons use an internal referral redirect. The store may pay us a commission when a visitor makes a qualifying purchase, without adding an affiliate surcharge to the retailer’s displayed price. The merchant controls its own live checkout and policies.
We do not offer paid placement or paid positive verdicts in the guide. A retailer cannot approve an editorial review before publication as a condition of inclusion. We aim to compare products sold by different stores, while openly acknowledging when a sufficiently broad sourced shortlist is not possible.
Commercial relationships can create incentives, which is why we disclose them and keep source links in the editorial records rather than replacing evidence with claims of impartiality.

Corrections and contact
A dated product price or delivery policy can change. We intend to revisit key pages regularly, especially product tables and tax-sensitive buying guides. A correction request is welcome when it identifies the page, the disputed statement and a verifiable source.
Write to [email protected] with corrections, questions about the method or appropriate partnership enquiries. We can correct editorial material; we cannot handle purchases or returns made through external stores. We do not require payment information to receive a correction.
We want each guide to be a useful, calm starting point: buy once if it suits you, and understand the material and ongoing care before spending.
